Podcast on mind mapping and Getting Things Done

Biztechtalk Dan Keldsen, author of the BizTechTalk blog, recently conducted a podcast interview with Michael Scherotter of Mindjet (developer of MindManager) and Richard Love, senior director of quality systems at Stiefel, a pharmaceutical company, on the topics of mind mapping and GTD (Getting Things Done, the organizational methodology popularized by David Allen). They also touch on using mind maps for project management, designing databases, agile development and more.

There's some interesting stuff in this 35-minute conversation, including this gem: Scherotter often links Visio maps to his visual maps. But he doesn't just create a file link, but also takes a snapshot of the Visio diagram and pastes it into a topic note, so the people he's collaborating with can view it without having to open Visio. Very smart!

Chuck,

Thanks for the great link! Mind mapping and GTD are two of my favorite things (it's sort of like mixing chocolate and peanut butter together).

You may have already seen this. But, I also recently discovered that David Allen had done a Mind Manager Webex on Getting Things Done a few months ago.

hope mindmapping will be described in a new GTD book!
