Visual Mind 9 opens new ground for collaboration with mind maps
I recently published a review of Visual Mind 9 from Mind Technologies AS, in which I explore the newest and most notable features of this well-designed, full-featured mind mapping program for Windows.
The biggest news in this version is the launch of a client-server version, which makes Visual Mind it the first desktop-based mapping program to enable real-time collaboration. It also contains several other new productivity-enhancing features; you'll have to read my review for all of the details.

Great review of Visual Mind! One thing that comes to my mind, though. It seems that in addition to the tool you need to pay additional license for the server.
It serves great the scenario of a company but in case a group of people just want to work real time on a map this does not work. A good real time collaboration functionality for a mind mapping tool would be the one that allows a client apps connect and work together without any centralized server entity. I've seen such kind of real time collaboration on a mind map in only one tool so far - Bookvar - http://www.bookvar.net
