In 2006, Tony Buzan's company decided to launch its own mind mapping program – iMindMap – with an aim of creating a software environment that would more closely mimic the process of creating hand drawn maps. In 2007, iMindMap 2 was released, and it shows tremendous promise. It delivers on the promise of creating a more organic interface for creating mind maps, while also offering numerous features that should satisfy all but the most demanding businesspeople.

Without picking on any one MMp app: I'd like to complain that it is much too difficult to read everybodies' MMp's -- except in HTML or pdf: which does not translate into the one or two apps I happen to have licenses for. It must be a barrier to the acceptance of computerised MMping ? Perhaps there are already similar comments to this blog. I'm using iMMp & Mind42; which, last, is universal in the senses of being free and collaborative...
